Our Story
Founded in 2019, BLOOM has actually been in existence since the early 2000s. Originally in a downtown location under the name Powercuts Salon and Spa, our talented team made a leap of faith - to a new home with a new look, a new vibe, and a new name that better defines who we are as a team, as a business, and as a part of our community.
Conveniently situated between Aiken's busy southside and historic downtown, our location allows us to serve more people by being more strategically located for the growing Aiken community. Our charming Southern home, built in 1872, is located next to a nature reserve known as a Carolina Bay. A peek out a window could reveal a solitary walker enjoying the trails around the bay, beautiful seasonal foliage, and even wildlife like Canadian geese, wood ducks and turtles. A truly relaxing environment just steps away from the craziness of daily life.

Our Mission
Our goal is to provide a comfortable and relaxed environment where YOU are our priority. The service itself is planned beforehand to insure all your expectations are exceeded. We promise to give you our undivided attention from even before your service begins with our complimentary in-person consultation. It takes all the fears out of coming to a new salon and working with a new stylist. Once your service is complete, we maintain any formulations or special requirements on file to insure your needs can always be met.

Can you get hair services anywhere in Aiken? Yes, you can. But you can only have the Bloom experience inside our walls. Every stylist goes above and beyond to deliver a service like no other. A one-on-one, in-person consultation prior to your service being scheduled clears up any fears or concerns. Personalized hair color with an emphasis on blonding and gray coverage/blending, luxury texture treatments, and signature take-home products customized to your hair care needs are our secret sauce. We want to be YOUR salon home.
