Our Mission

To provide on-trend cuts, modern customized color services and texture treatments, always keeping every guest's hair health at the forefront. Complimentary consultations set the tone for a memorable guest experience that achieves hair goals while feeling like you've spent time with a good friend.

GROW A CLIENTELE YOU LOVE!

- Developing your own individual branding is critical to attracting your perfect target market guest through proven systems for quick AND long term success. In-house coaching will help you on that journey so that you love every guest that sits in your chair.

- A beautiful bright environment gives you lots of unique opportunities to photograph your guests, to build your social media presence, and grow your business. Professional branding photo shoots are done regularly to showcase you & your business.

- With 50-75 new salon guests every month, you have an opportunity to grow to a full book of clients within a year. You and your guests will have a beautifully appointed environment with a comfy waiting area, refreshments, a guest care team to assist your clients with check-in/check-out and rescheduling, ample/well-lit parking, and security systems.

- We offer hourly and commission pay. You can move from hourly to commission once you've built your clientele, thus insuring a consistent income as you grow.

WE VALUE WORKING TOGETHER AS A TEAM & PROMOTE A WELCOMING SPACE FOR CREATIVE MINDS

- Our salon is open Monday through Friday from 9 am - 6 pm. This allows our team to have downtime when their friends and family do.

- Setting your own schedule and unlimited unpaid time off gives you needed flexibility for important events, doctors appointments, etc.

- Working 40+ hours a week is not how we roll. Having time off is important for a work / life harmony. Many of our team members work part time and earn a solid annual income because we have systems in place to help make that possible. Whether you're a single person starting your career, a mom who needs a schedule that works around your child's school and activities, or an established stylist who just wants more flexibility - Bloom Salon could be for you!

YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN YOUR JOURNEY

- Our in-salon mentors are like no others in the area, helping you learn and earn at a pace that is best for you. You will have the confidence to tackle the services you want to specialize in, and you will always have a team member around for support with any challenges you may face!

- On-going education is a must in our industry. We keep you up-to-date with changes and improvements in cutting & coloring via our relationship with John Paul Mitchell Systems education staff as well as a variety of other new services, trends and business tools.

AS WE GROW, SO GROWS OUR GUEST CARE TEAM

Our Guest Care Team opportunities (part and full time) will have you looking forward to every day at the salon.

Working in tandem with our guests, our stylists, and other Guest Care Team members, you will find this is not a 'hamster wheel' type position.

Each day is filled with new experiences and opportunities to grow. Experience with booking systems, inventory and marketing are all a plus!

Shadowing and Student Opportunities

We have opportunities for students in cosmetology school too!

- Curious about what our salon environment looks like? Shadowing provides the opportunity to observe, see how we operate and get to know our team.

- Be a part of the industry BEFORE you are even licensed and once you graduate, you'll be ready to hit the ground running! Many of our most successful stylists started with us while still in high and/or cosmetology school - going to school and working with us part time. Not only was it valuable time spent learning more about the industry - their experiences in the salon helped them be better prepared in the classroom.

From starting as an assistant stylist, I learned inventory, front desk duties and watching stylists perform amazing services. I started working for Bloom while I was still in cosmetology school. I assisted until I got my license and was able to start taking clients of my own. Over the past 15 years as a stylist at Bloom, one of the biggest things I love about our salon is the bond that we share together as a team. We work with a group of women here that are truly dependable & supportive of each other. We can count on each other daily & at this point we’re so much more than coworkers. Each of us are willing to help the other out if we ever need an extra set of hands, someone to help formulate a specific color shade, someone to shampoo the other's client if we’re running behind, etc. We treat each other professionally & are always there to support each other in the day-to-day work that we do.
