Founded in 2019, BLOOM has actually been in existence since the early 2000s. Originally in a downtown location under the name Powercuts Salon and Spa, our talented team made a leap of faith - to a new home with a new look, a new vibe, and a new name that better defines who we are as a team, as a business, and as a part of our community.

Conveniently situated between Aiken's busy southside and historic downtown, our location allows us to serve more people by being more strategically located for the growing Aiken community. Our charming Southern home, built in 1872, is located next to a nature reserve known as a Carolina Bay. A peek out a window could reveal a solitary walker enjoying the trails around the bay, beautiful seasonal foliage, and even wildlife like Canadian geese,  wood ducks and turtles. A truly relaxing environment just steps away from the craziness of daily life.
